Karlene Riley - RVT
Karlene went to Lakeland College to take her RVT and graduated in 2023. She did her praticum here and joined us permanently shortly after. She grew up on a family farm near Gull Lake. Karlene enjoys working with cows, riding her horses, and baking sweet treats.
Jordan Hopfe - RVT
Jordan graduated from Lakeland College in 2023 with her RVT. She did her praticum in Austalia and spent a few weeks backpacking the east coast. In her spare time she enjoys paddle-boarding, riding, skiing, and traveling.
Sheraton Giesbrecht - RVT
Sheraton has worked here as an assistant for the past 4 summers. She graduated from Lakeland College with her Registered Vet Tech. Sheraton grew up on her family farm where she enjoyed raising and training Pony of Americas.
Tianna DeLeeuw, RVT
I graduated from Lakeland College in 2025 as a Veterinary Technologist. I love working with both large and small animals, and taking X-rays is one of my biggest interests. In my spare time I like to go camping, fishing, snowboarding and reading.
Katie Mackinaw - Assistant
Katie has volunteered at the clinic since she was 10 years old and in 2022 she joined our team for good! She grew up in the area and now lives with her 2 dogs, Delta and Odie and her 2 cats, Betty and Susan. She eventually wants to become a vet. When Katie isn't working she is adding to her tattoo collection or taking Delta to meet other Bully's!
Briana Patterson - Assistant/ Equine Reproduction Tech
Briana graduated from Olds College in 2023 as an Equine Reproduction Tech. Before joining us in September 2023, Briana grew up on a ranch outside of Alder Flats. In her spare time she enjoys starting colts, trail rides and entering local jackpots.

Bri Ritter - Tech Assistant
Bri lived in Australia for 6 months before moving back to Canada and going to school. She graduated from Red Deer College in 2020 as a certified health care aide. After a few years in the medical field, she decided to join our team, pursuing a life long passion for animals! Bri and her husband Rhett have two fur babies, a Great Dane and Mini Aussie Doodle. In her spare time she likes to travel, paint, fish, go boating and spend time with her family.
Mari Kohlmann - Tech Assistant
Mari is from a small city in the countryside in the south of Brazil, she moved here in 2024 with her husband(Lucas) and her 3 dogs(Snow, Chico and Nana).
Other than work she likes to spend time with her family in dog parks and walking trails. Other interests include ice skating, motorcycles, music festivals and camping.
Mari's favorite animals are cows, she worked with them for a while and she thinks they are so beautiful, strong, smart and funny
She is also studying to one day become a licensed Veterinarian here in Canada.
