Dr. Jasmine Duff
Dr. Duff graduated from the University of Guelph in 2014, and spent her first years practicing at a busy equine and small animal practice. She is originally from Ontario but has lived and worked in Alberta, on and off, for the past 10 years. Her main interest lies in equine work but she is more than happy to treat any and all animals. When she is not practicing vet medicine she spends her time riding her horse, snowboarding and playing the guitar.
Dr. Patrick Burrage
Dr. Burrage graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.
He owned a mixed animal practice in Claresholm for 12 years before moving to the Bluffton area with his family in 2002. His primary focus has been beef cow-calf and equine, but also includes small ruminants and alternative livestock (bison, elk). He is a busy father of 3 girls, Erin, Josie and Lacey, and is involved with volleyball, basketball and rodeo. Recently Dr. Pat made the decision to pass along the business in January 2018 and is now semi retired, working two or three days a week.
Dr. Pat is also involved with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association and has been on many committees over the years. He is currently on the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency (CCIA) board of directors (vice-chair).
Dr. Julie Reimer
Dr. Julie Reimer joined our practice in June 2017. Julie grew up in Calgary and went to school at UCVM, did her undergrad at the U of A at the Agriculture Faculty. Julie's parents own land near Leedale, and in 2012 Julie volunteered at the clinic for that entire summer. Julie, her husband Curtis and their cat Fitz moved to Rimbey in June of 2017. In her spare time Julie likes to go camping, swimming and in the winter curling. She also enjoys crocheting. Julie is both a large and small animal vet although she prefers to do large animals, specifically cattle.
